The Board of Directors
Daniella Lartides graduated from University of Belgrade (Sebia) with BSc in Economics and BA in Marketing. Following graduation she joined the largest Group of companies in Serbia as a financial analyst before being promoted and moved to Cyprus, where she held a position of a Deputy CEO of the Cyprus based mother company for the next three years and served as a member of the board of Directors for the following 10 years. For the last five years she is working as an executive director for a Cyprus trading company, while being the member of the board of Directors in various other companies across several industries and during 2024 was appointed to the position of Director in Arno Capital Limited.
Christos Mitsingas has studied law in the Leeds Metropolitan University (2005-2008) and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2010. Christos specializes in civil litigation and has a broad trial and appellate litigation practice, with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation. He was also appointed to the position of Director in Arno Capital Limited.
Petros Petrides graduated from Rutgers University in the USA, with a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) and a Minor in Economics. He then joined a Big-Four Accountancy firm in Cyprus where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA). In 2006, Petros joined the local office of IQEQ, a global investor services group, where he serves a member of the board of Directors since 2009. During 2019, Petros was appointed to the position of Director in Arno Capital Limited.
Senior Advisors to the Board
Sophocoles Michaelides is an economist with more than 40 years of experience in banking and financial services. He studied economics in the United States and earned a Ph.D. from Cornell University. He served as assistant professor at the University of the Philippines and at Eastern Michigan University. Subsequently, he worked at the Central Bank of Cyprus from where he retired as Senior Director.
His book EUCLIDEAN ECONOMICS – published in Greek in 2006 and in English in 2019 – is available electronically from the University of Cyprus Library. It presents a general method for construction and application of models which simulate reality by conforming to the laws of accounting, economics and mathematics.
Sophocles held executive and non-executive directorships on the boards of private and public companies in the financial services sector. In 2013 he was elected Chairman of the Bank of Cyprus Interim Board of Directors that carried through the first and only bail-in in the Euro system.
Nainish Bapna was CIO of a large London-based SFO for over 10 years, where he invested across multiple asset classes globally, including direct investments, special situation opportunities, private equity funds, structured debt and a portfolio of real estate developments in the US, UK and UAE.
He started his career as a ranked equity analyst at UBS & Nomura, after which he built the world’s largest in-pharmacy digital advertising network. Subsequently he has spent a number of years developing in renewable energy technologies and projects.
